Who sells Macarun
Macarun is made by Bc. Jiří Charvát, a sole trader registered in the Czech trade register, IČO 01259172, Nové sady 988/2, 602 00 Brno ("we"). Write to support@macarun.dev.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the merchant of record for all our orders, handles billing, refunds and invoices, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
Subscription
Macarun is a subscription per Mac: €290 a year or €29 a month, plus VAT or sales tax where it applies. You change the number of Macs, or cancel, from the Mac app at any time. A change is prorated; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a renewal at a new price.
Refunds
If Macarun is not for you, ask within 14 days of a payment and you get it back in full. Write to us or use the link in Paddle's receipt.
License
While your subscription is paid, you may run Macarun on as many Macs as it covers, for your own and your organization's CI, and use the apps on any number of devices. You may not resell it, offer it to others as a hosted service, or work around its licensing. When a subscription ends, your Macs keep running jobs, with the updates published while you paid; the fleet view, notifications and updates stop.
Macarun runs macOS in virtual machines. You are responsible for following Apple's licenses for macOS, which allows two virtual machines per Mac, and for Xcode.
Your data
Your jobs, source, secrets and signing material stay on your Macs. See what our servers hold and the privacy notice.
What we promise
We keep Macarun working with new macOS and Xcode releases and answer support by email. Your CI does not depend on our servers, and we promise no uptime for them. Otherwise Macarun is provided as it is: to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.
Ending and changes
We may end a subscription for a serious breach of these terms, after telling you why and giving you a chance to fix it. If we stop offering Macarun, we tell you at least 90 days ahead and refund the unused part of any yearly subscription. We announce changes to these terms by email at least 30 days before they apply to you. Czech law governs these terms, without taking away the protection a consumer has under the law where they live.
